I Love You
This project was inspired by my horse, Troy, colicking and nearly having to be put down. The near loss made me feel like I didn’t have enough images to remember him by, if anything were to happen again. I used that fear as inspiration for this project. While this project was started with fear, it’s grown into a project built on love. My photos tell the story of who Troy is, and the bond between us. The photo sessions were done during Troy’s day to day life, to keep everything as natural as possible. Troy formed a strong connection with the camera throughout these sessions.
